This album reflects meanings 1 & 3 of “Afree Music”. The tracks presented are inspired by the rhythms listed.

1. The Entrance (Yanvalou/Avonlou) - Yanvalou, a ceremonial rhythm from Haiti, with origins in the Yoruban culture of West Africa. In some parts of the Caribbean the same rhythm is known as Avonlou. "The Entrance" (our version) takes the form of a walking rhythm, which is often used to greet royalty.

2. Afree; Way of Being (Land Ship) - Land Ship, used to greet ships when docking at the harbour, (developed in Barbados). Our track is called the "Afree; Way of Being"

3. Shirt Jaq (Caribbean Samba) - Caribbean Samba developed from the Afro-Brazilian Samba to this Caribbean version and then to our track "Shirt Jaq", the name Shirt Jaq comes from the term Shirt Jacket Suit, which is a form of dress made popular in the 60s' and 70s' in Africa and the Caribbean. The suit is also called a "Political Suit", "Up & Down", or a "Safari".

4. Push & Pull "Live" (Original) - This rhythm we’ve created, is called "Push & Pull" it represents the journey, moving forward while acknowledging resistance, physical and mental. "Vision, discipline and perseverance triumph."

5. iPOEM - The iPOEM written by Davidson R. Elie Jr, created out of the love of soulful electronic music (true deep house) and it's connection to African/Caribbean heritage through "Call and Response" which is responsible for all music.

6. Midnight Chic (Original) w/Words Afree - "Midnight Chic" is an original piece, representing the perfect night, a balance between substance and esthetics.

7. Snake Skin (Guan Guanco) - Guan Guanco is a African rhythm developed in Cuba, it tells the tale of the snake shedding it's skin, symbolizing a new beginning, a rebirth and regeneration, hence our version, entitled "Snake Skin".

8. Eclipse (Ibo) - "Eclipse", is based on the Ibo rhythm of Nigeria.

9. Push & Pull "Full Mix" (Original) - The full mix of "Push and Pull", an iDRUM original rhythm(see Track 4).

10. Sand Storm (Ibo) w/Words Afree - "Sand Storm", is also based on the Ibo rhythm of Nigeria.
